On December 24 to 25, 2021, Wynca Tinyo organized the four engineers of the company to participate in the special training of "engineer problem analysis and solution skills training" in response to the questions raised by them about the complexity of transactional work, problem definition, goal decomposition and problem solution tools.
Before the training, the lecturer designed the course according to the work content of the engineers' department, and divided the engineers into seven discussion groups according to the work content of their respective departments. Each group member wrote the problems to be solved and the training objectives on the white card, and the group members also formulated the team name and team slogan, to show a good mental outlook.
This training focuses on four themes: the method of problem definition, the design method of
problem-solving scheme, the decomposition of detailed objectives, and the implementation. During the training, all students listened carefully, and everybody actively participated in the discussion, cooperating with the teacher to raise, analyze and solve questions again and again, especially in the landing cases by using some tools and methods. With years of experience in the production group and teaching and consulting practice experience in manufacturing enterprises, it’s not only bringing many new ideas to the students, but also the solutions and treatment methods of different problems, defines different problems with different ways of thinking, solves problems with different tools, sets solution goals according to the size and urgency of the problem, and uses different tools to discuss solutions.
Through this training, the students realized the reason they always look at problems only on the surface is lacking of work experience and deep thinking. Meanwhile they also learned that the correct way to respond to questions should be: what happened? Why did it happen? What is the problem? What are the possible solutions? How to solve it? Use scientific and optimal comparison method to find out the most likely causes and opportunities of the problem, find the causes through fact analysis, and then review the possible causes on the basis of facts. What are the first concerns and observed facts?
Then comprehensively identify and explore the possible causes, compare and diagnose each reliable cause, and finally select the most likely one.
At last, the students realized we can only be qualified and never surpass ourselves in the step-by-step work. Only with a high sense of responsibility, a sense of purpose, broaden our horizon and change our way of thinking, can we regard the work problem as our problem and achieve personal breakthroughs,better complete personal performance and realize the rapid development of the company and individuals.
